Gerald M. Rosenberg, MD, MBA
Gerald Rosenberg graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He did his orthopedic surgical residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, and then completed a Fellowship in hand and upper extremity at the esteemed Hospital Special Surgery / Cornell Medical Center in New York City. More recently Dr. Rosenberg attended the OSU Fisher College of Business, completing his MBA degree.
Dr. Rosenberg’s thirty-year surgical practice focused on joint reconstruction of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand, as well as knee. He is now concentrating on non-surgical ‘regenerative orthopedic medicine.’ This rapidly evolving science provides an additional treatment alternative for patients. His extensive surgical experience gives Dr. Rosenberg an in-depth understanding of joint anatomy, function, and the various conditions that cause pain. Likewise, he has a surgeon’s skill to deliver injections to specific anatomical targets.
Throughout his career he genuinely enjoys getting to know his patients, and creating unhurried, trusting relationships. He communicates clearly to help patients choose which mode of treatment is the best fit. As a lifetime athlete of many sports, he appreciates how joint pain impacts our lives and activities.
